I'm getting out there Thursday night; I'll be showing up to the con starting Friday morning. It looks like only 0-2 people from NYC are coming out. Those if any that do will be there Fri-Sun also.
Hm. What has worked very well in the past is the free gaming area on the second or third floor of the... Hyatt? It's the hotel with the giant indoor atrium, tons of balconies all the way up for 10+ floors, and it's just north of the convention center. I've had some great games in there starting after the dealer hall closes - or sometimes around 8/9 after dinner - and just gaming and gaming and gaming. Very chill atmosphere that is at the same time high-energy. Don't know quite how that works out but I enjoy it.
Of course, Friday night is also the Ennies and who knows what else. And Saturday night is the dance, IIRC.
Let's do this. Sign up here or email me if you'd like to play Friday night. If you want to play but can only play Fri. afternoon or some other time, say so, and we'll see if we can adjust or start a new game then.
