Please forgive me for reposting under a new title, but it is different than my rebalancing question.
In the rules it says (regarding the combat style sheets) that if an effect is listed but no damage is listed, then only the effect takes place. So what good is the "Cleave" maneuver on the Free Sword Style? (d4/d2; Atk. 2 Tgts) There is an effect listed, but no damage. It is the same with the "Sweep" maneuver on the Great Weapon Style. (d10/d6; 5 targets) So again, there is an effect with no damage listed.
Seems to me that a "Cleave" and a "Sweep" should at least be listed as "1 + # Targets"
Any thoughts?
Also, any word on glosses for the Combat Sheets?
Thanks,
Steven

It's a pain, but you can get the glosses for most things from the Combat Primer. IIRC, he didn't put them in with the rest of the PDF because he miscalculated how much people wanted them; he figured people wouldn't really use/need them. Miscalculation IMO, but it does cut down the page count noticeably.
As far as something like "5 targets," that isn't exactly an effect, is it? ;) I'd say (without pulling out the style sheets and looking at the example specifically) it's a generic 1dmg attack against that many targets. I can understand the confusion, though!
