Greetings all ... Just finished reading through SK for a second time and Boy am I full of some great ideas and look forward to running some games.
Has there been any talk of starting a Play-by-Post or Online Gametable game?

There hasn't really been talk of it on the forums, though it's a cool idea :) PBP really doesn't do it for me conceptually (I haven't actually tried), though with SK's relatively quick pace it'd either work extremely well or very poorly because of it. Basically, you wouldn't get bogged down with combat taking forever as it should go pretty quickly; however, going PBP probably changes the feel a lot. As far as playing online, it'd work quite well. I haven't played fully online, but when I played SK one player was playing over Skype with a video feed on both ends, and we were able to freely talk as if he was in the room. :) He said it was quite easy for him to handle; I'm sure playing with everyone online would work excellently with SK. I'm not sure what the best app for an all-online game would be, though. In any case, I'm definitely in!

Heh, depending on time and date, I could be in too! I'd be very interested in how it plays online. I haven't ever tried it. If you guys get something set up, let me know.

I'd definately be interested in partipating in a skype game or some-such. Problem is, every time this comes up it seems like everyone is on the east coast playing when I'm at work :(
I'll keep an eye on this thread in case anything comes together.
If nothing else, it'd be cool to participate in a one-shot to help me solidify the rules, etc.

Even a PBP game has some potential, I think, with the ability to easily scale from small-scale scenes to organization actions and mass battles. The simultaneous resolution in combat would also lend itself to a narrative, PBP approach.

Just posted on Rpol.net that I was looking for someone to run the game. Only way I see myself playing it in the near future.

I'd definitely be up for trying this either with Fantasy Ground II or pbp. I don't think I could run it though. I'm pretty much in the same boat kilgs, virtual or pbp are my only outlet for most games. Most of my group is not that venturesome.
I too am on the East Coast MadLordofMilk. In fact, I'm in NY, but in the Southern Tier. I'm thinking of posting to see if anyone going to Con on the Cob in a few weeks might have it and want to try it there. If I had found it sooner I may have tried to run an adventure.
Take care all, rudedd

There is a playtest game for Spellbound Kingdoms, we haven't started yet. Also, if one of my game fizzles, I'll be running one as well. I think Scene Play will really make the PbP medium work as that's one of the biggest drags is getting from one scene to the next. Also, PbP allows for individuals to have secrets and private threads. http://www.rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=38995&date=1257753025
