The revised edition is up at DTRPG. I will be putting it up soon at other sites as well (Paizo, YourGamesNow, we'll see where else...). I'm excited!
The print version is going to take a bit more time. I need to get the layout in the right format and then print and approve a proof copy.
Assuming I can get things looking ok in both B&W and color, which do you prefer? A color hardcover is looking like it's going to be expensive, probably $49. Of course, I could shrink the text to reduce the page count and therefore reduce the price, but that would be a TON more work. The other option is a B&W hardcover (I imagine the grayscale would come out ok, we'd have to see). The price point on that would probably be $29. Thoughts?

I am always a fan of color, but I am a bad representive of the community since I only spend my money on RPGs and expensive beer. Its a hard life I live.

Congratulations!
As for print options I think black and white would be wisest. Now I love a nice color hardcover just as much as anybody and would buy it in a heartbeat - but I'm really not your target audience since I'm sold already. A b&w hardcover for $29 would probably be more interesting for potential customers who are intrigued by what they have heard about the game.
But this is going to be POD right? If you do get the file to work in b&w with a minimum of work, is there a reason why you can't offer both? That'll please everybody.
*Off to buy the new pdf*

Great news :-)
Given the cost of postage to New Zealand, I actually don't mind the idea of full-color - by the time I factor in postage, the price increase as a % is lessened :-)
Having said that though, I think that you should go for whichever is the most likely to get you better numbers of sales. Which is tricky - color is good for grabbing the eye, but low cost is obviously attractive.
Off to Drivethru :-) Drew

Well I will wait for POD.
Both options are probably best if possible.
If I had the choice, I would look at the price differential. I would be more likely to come down on B+W because the art is not a huge feature as a necessity of a small publisher.

I'm a softcover d00d... but I'd like it in color. That said, I would still buy a print copy if it ends up in b&w. =)
I just wish it could have that "lay flat" spine or... however that works. =P

Oh yes, I am a Hardcover "dood".
I really do not buy softs any more. I have a big printer and print them out myself if not available in hard.

Working on it this weekend. If it turns out feasible (in terms of work hours and cost) to get a B&W and a color version available, I will do that. I'm cautiously optimistic that it will be feasible.
