I was looking to find out how people have modified the base setting. I was considering playing up the Werewolf-Vampire aspect as possible adversaries.
Have a few vampires lords running small kingdoms outside of the core Claw nations.

I know there is a thread somewhere where Frank used it for a StarWars game.

"Modifications" to the base setting, no, but in my re-read through The Wheel of Time series I keep thinking that, tinkering with the Magic system, SK would do extremelly well to represent it (with all the intrigue, the backstabbing, etc). I have even modified / renamed some of the fighting styles with tWoT sword forms (and its cool names, like Unfolding the Fan, or Bear Rushes Downhill, etc) and it looks pretty nice. Haven't had the chance to actually test it, thou :(

Willen, I like to know about your homebrew work to adapt spellbound to Wheel of time. I can playtesting your work in my group and give my opinion about it.

I can share my thoughts with you. TBH, I was thinking of putting together some "intro pack" with the data from only the first and second books, prior to the coming of the Dragon. Kinda like they are doing "the One Ring" rpg, then advancing. This way, focusing on some areas and keeping Aes Sedai (magic users) mostly out, the adaptation is minimal and all it needs is some background. Send me an email I can share with you some files with the modified Combat Sheets when I tidy them up ;)

i don't use the core setting. I use the 7th sea's setting, a old rpg with muskeeters, pirates and magic. The rules are perfect for it.
